I started this journal because when I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), lupus nephritis, fibromyalgia, and rheumatoid arthritis, I felt completely lost. There were so many emotions swirling inside me—feelings of isolation, despair, and confusion. I remember yearning for a voice to talk to, someone who could assure me that I was not alone. Yet, at that moment, I found myself surrounded by silence. My journey has not been easy. I faced not only the physical challenges of living with these invisible illnesses but also the emotional toll they took on me. I encountered depression, crippling fatigue, and even experienced hair loss that made me question my beauty and self-worth. The noise in my head was overwhelming, and I felt like I was shouting into a void, desperately seeking someone who could understand the struggles I faced daily.
